Enteroscopy is the procedure of using an endoscope for the direct visualization of the small bowel which is not accessible by upper GI scope and colonoscopy. It is used for sampling of small bowel lesions such as biopsies from small bowel ulcers and therapeutic procedures such as hemoclip in bleeding vessels or APC in telangiectasias
